OUR HISTORY

Outdoor Makeover & Roof and Exteriors has a rich history spanning five generations of the Derakhshan family, who have been involved in real estate development, construction, design, and contracting. Co-founders Navid and Omid Derakhshan, who come from diverse educational backgrounds in biology and civil engineering, respectively, launched Outdoor Makeover & Roof and Exteriors in 2001 under the guidance of their father.

Combining their unique skill sets, Navid and Omid introduced the concept of Outdoor Makeover & Roof and Exteriors to the metro Atlanta area, offering a holistic approach to landscape and construction services. Today, under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Navid Derakhshan, the company continues to excel in providing all-inclusive outdoor transformation solutions.

Outdoor Makeover’s Charity Movement

Navid, the owner of Outdoor Makeover, has started a charitable movement that donates vegetable gardens to charities housing orphans, seniors, handicapped, and incapacitated individuals who need help and would enjoy fresh produce. The goal of the charity is to donate two vegetable gardens per year to the community. We are seeking your help in finding charities that could benefit from a beautiful vegetable garden to help those in need spend more time outdoors. We understand that outdoor activities are often overlooked due to the availability of indoor entertainment such as television. By donating to these vegetable gardens, we want to provide an opportunity for people in these charities to experience the joy of gardening and spending time outside.

Play in the dirt—get dirty.

We believe that there’s nothing more satisfying than witnessing the fruits of your hard work in a well-maintained garden, yielding fresh vegetables that cannot be compared to store-bought produce. Fresh food is something that everyone loves, and some of our clients take it upon themselves to grow their edible plants. However, we understand that some people may require a helping hand to get started or are not exposed to the culture of gardening. Therefore, we would like to help bridge this gap by finding qualified charities that could benefit from our efforts. If you would like to contribute to our cause, we welcome your donations, which will be used to cultivate these vegetable gardens. We would like to donate 2 to 4 Standard consultations to select nonprofits of our client’s choice.
